Time management tip for membership site owners

One of the most common causes of delays in launching a new membership site is the common mistake error of trying to do too many things at once.

Mindjet’s MindManager 7.0 Pro mind mapping program has a built-in Task Info feature that makes it easy for you to identify and prioritize what needs to be done and better manage your time.

You can use the Task Info feature to display the starting and due dates of the various tasks associated with launching your membership site without the costs and complexity of dedicated project planning software.

Putting MindManager’s Task Info to work
To add starting and stopping dates to any topic or subtopic:

  1. Select the topic or subtopic by clicking on it.
  2. Click the Task Info tool from the Home menu

3. When the Define Task Info pane appears, click the drop-down menus next to Start Date and Due Date, and select the desired dates from the calendar.

When you return to your map, the Starting and Due Dates will be added beneath the topic description, providing you with a visual way of tracking your progress and keeping your membership site on schedule.

Note: If you’re not already a MindManager user, you can download a free, 21-day trial at the Mindjet site, www.mindjet.com.
