The power of online audio to encourage a positive response is illustrated by a series of short podcasts that the Portland ( Maine) Museum of Art is using to promote their current photographic exhibit.

The strengths of the podcasts include length, i.e., short, their focus, and the fact that they’re not “slide shows,” but they do give you something to look at while listening.

These podcasts really “sell” the exhibit, in a way that membership and subscription site owners could use podcasts to “sell” the relevance of their sites.
