One of the easiest ways you can begin to create content for your membership site is to begin writing and posting tips as soon as possible.
Begin by making a list of specific tip ideas. Tips should be short, concise, and easily acted upon.
Weekly tips contribute to your membership site’s success in several ways:
- Tips lead to longer topics. When you sit down to create a list of tip topics, you’ll probably come up with dozens of article and video ideas at the same time. You’ll find that one idea quickly leads to another.
- Tips can be recycled. Weekly tips are the building blocks of longer projects, such as tip sheets (compilations of individual tips), newsletter articles, or e-books.
- Tips add credibility to your site. Numerous tips “age” your site. Just as no one wants to be a surgeon’s first patient, prospects will look to your tip sheet archives to see how long your site has been around. The presence of numerous tips reassures prospective members that you are serious about your membership site and have been frequently adding content.
